badknight - album artwork

the following artwork was produced for Badknight's debut, "It's Alright", which is set to be released this fall. Badknight is an acoustic duo- Emily Lenae and Devin McKnight- from Boston.

iris and the rats

When I began this drawing, I didn't have a specific concept in mind. Somehow it became this girl sitting in a chair framed by rats and flowers. I don't recall intending to create something morbid, but that is what happened.
